Easy Apple Crisp
I am no stranger to apple crisp but when I had this version at a friend’s house, I just had to have the recipe. It was the best one that I think I have ever had. She makes extra topping and I just think that is brilliant.
It also tastes better when it sits, so it is a great “make ahead” dessert for your gatherings.
I always make too much topping, if that is possible, and then there is way more topping than apples. It is better to make a little bit more topping. I also prefer to use a deeper baking dish so that I can dig down to scoop out, but I sometimes forget about that, like this time.

In the end, though, it’s a beautiful little bowlful of yummy delicious Apple Crisp, even if I went a bit crazy. It’s just like perfect…
You can always add vanilla ice cream, but on this dessert (or breakfast) I am a purist – no ice cream for me.
